Edgility is an established SMS solutions provider for businesses relying on SMS as a cost effective, and accessible medium to send targeted SMS campaigns to its customers. They are all about enabling businesses to reach, via SMS, the people that matter most to them.
With the departure of an integral member of the Edgility’s team, Edgility was at crossroads and needed to make a quick decision. They had to either quickly hire a replacement technical resource that would be familiar with the technologies involved with Edgility’s core service offerings and hit the ground running OR hire a digital partner who could take on management and growth of their core business technology infrastructure. It was also at this time that Edgility was pitching to a large client where they required more technical expertise to fulfil a component of their brief.
We (Leafcutter) had the technical skills that Edgility required to fulfil their brief and it was much quicker for Edgility to hire us as their digital partner than to go through the process of finding and onboarding a new full time resource internally. Working with us provided a more risk free option and enabled Edgility to make a smooth transition from their leaving resource, to working with our team.
We over delivered and Edgility was impressed. With our specialist technical expertise in building custom web applications and our ability to call on additional skill sets for support e.g. strategy, UX & design, we were able to add more value than a technical resource alone could have provided, had Edgility successfully gone down the painful and time consuming path of recruitment.
